Phong Nha & Paradise Cave

2-Day Tour from Hue

Explore the natural and historical wonders of Central Vietnam on this 2-day journey from Hue. Discover sacred sites like La Vang Holy Land and wartime landmarks in Quang Tri before venturing into the stunning caves of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Visit both the water-filled Phong Nha Cave and the dry, majestic Paradise Cave before returning to Hue via the scenic Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Day 1: Hue – Phong Nha Cave – Dong Hoi

Begin your journey from Hue and head north to Quang Binh province, passing through scenic countryside and sites of historical importance. Along the way, stop at La Vang Holy Land, a Catholic pilgrimage site in Quang Tri Province known for its spiritual significance and peaceful atmosphere.

Continue along National Highway 1A, passing by remnants of the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) such as the Old Citadel of Quang Tri, Doc Mieu Base, Hien Luong River, and Ben Hai Bridge. These historic landmarks serve as powerful reminders of Vietnam’s wartime history.

Upon arrival in Phong Nha, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before embarking on a scenic boat trip to Phong Nha Cave. Known as a “water cave,” Phong Nha features dramatic rock formations with poetic names like the “Lion,” “Fairy Caves,” “Royal Court,” and “Buddha”. Spend time exploring the impressive cave interiors before continuing to Dong Hoi for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Dong Hoi – Paradise Cave – Hue

After a relaxed morning in Dong Hoi, begin your transfer toward Son Trach village, stopping for lunch along the way.

In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Paradise Cave, often described as one of the world’s most beautiful dry caves. With its towering stalagmites and shimmering stalactites, Paradise Cave captivates visitors with its otherworldly beauty and peaceful ambiance.

After your cave visit, begin the return journey to Hue, traveling along the scenic Ho Chi Minh Trail, and arrive back in the evening. This two-day tour offers a perfect blend of natural wonder, historical context, and peaceful landscapes.
