Kon Tum Trek & Canoe: Kon Ko Tu Village Tour
Start your day with a scenic drive from Kon Tum town to the nearby Bahnar minority village of Kon Ko Tu, crossing the picturesque Kon Klor suspension bridge. This peaceful area in Vietnam’s Central Highlands sets the stage for a culturally rich 12-kilometer trek.
The trail is mostly flat with just a few gentle slopes, making it suitable for all fitness levels. Along the way, you’ll pass traditional stilt houses, friendly locals, and cultivated farmland, and even have the chance to step inside a Rong House an iconic communal structure of the Bahnar people.
Enjoy a picnic lunch by the riverbank, brought down from the village by dugout canoe. After lunch, relax on a serene ride upstream in one of these traditional canoes, gliding back to Kon Ko Tu Village by mid-afternoon.
