Kon Tum Trek & Canoe: Kon Ko Tu Village Tour
Start your day with a memorable drive from Kon Tum town to the nearby Bahnar minority village of Kon Ko Tu, crossing the beautiful Kon Klor suspension bridge. This quiet and peaceful area of Vietnam’s Central Highlands will give way to a culturally varied trek of approximately 12 kilometers.
The trek is primarily flat with a few gradual inclines and declines – making it suitable for all fitness levels. Along the way, you will encounter stilt houses, friendly locals, agricultural farmland, and have an opportunity to visit a Rong House, a traditional communal house of the Bahnar people.
Enjoy a picnic lunch next to the riverbank, after being brought down from the village by dugout canoe. After lunch, take a peaceful ride upstream in one of the traditional canoes, floating back to Kon Ko Tu Village by mid-afternoon.
This authentic adventure, close to Kon Tum, is a fantastic way to experience minority culture, soft adventure, and laid-back Vietnam’s Central Highlands.
