This enormous park comprises forest, swamp and huge areas of natural green beauty which is home to hundreds of species of bird and mammal. A mere 3-hour transfer from Ho Chi Minh, you’ll find the park just to the north of Tay Nam Bô, including the south of Tây Nguyên. In Cat Loc, you might be lucky enough to encounter one of the last remaining Javan rhinoceroses, but there are a plethora of species to observe, including tigers, elephants and golden-cheeked gibbons. If you’re interested in birds, this is one of the world’s most diverse parks, with species including Germain's peacock pheasant, bar-bellied pitta and the rare orange-necked partridge.
